Chop Chop Goodbye

There are two possible situations - one can either do this or that. My honest opinion and my friendly advice is this: do it or do not do it - you will regret both.

Greed

It’s one thing to attempt to get it out of politics much like we rid politics of religion like the current #Occupywhereever movement is doing,  but the thing is and I believe this with every fibre of my being which Ned disagrees with to no end, humans are inherently selfish greedy uncaring things.

We have a moral obligation as the smartest most developed beings on this planet to preserve it, but we don’t, that’s just simply stating the facts, we don’t. We time after time again choose self interest over saving people, we value everything to do with us more than anything to do with ‘them’. According to this moral compass that most humans live by this is wrong, but no one cares that if the money made by Hollywood was instead redirected into Africa’s poorest parts the entirety of Africa would be middle class and it’s even in a lesser scale, no one cares about a man bleeding out at a train station because they value their time and in turn their money more than his life and subsequently we hear stories like this one all too often.

This is essentially the problem with our imploding earth and why the #Occupy movement is doomed to fail, people just don’t care. Things won’t change because you can’t fix this by fixing an issue, you can only fix this by changing a population’s mindsets, now unless you have the amazing rhetoric and passion of Hitler, you’re more than likely to fail at changing people’s entire perception of reality. That’s the worst part though, you need to be someone like Hitler for anything to change, no one is going to take it upon themselves to change their mindset, especially if it requires the eventual loss of money to fund people who three hundred years ago would not have survived anyway. The control of disease and famine is probably the greatest achievement humanity has ever done, but in turn it has created a death rate that is too small for the continued population of the world to sustain itself and in turn the world is really collapsing upon itself and humanity is not ingrained with a sense of caring because a couple hundred years ago, there was no need to care.

We have to evolve to care and cut greed from our lives.
