“The best explanation of why I’m here is the difference between my life and my fathers life, my father came back from the second world war with a grade 7 education, got married, got a job, a lower middle working class job and was able to support a family, drive a car and buy a house and keep himself in his old age.
When I was in my 20’s, 40 years ago I left school and there were jobs everywhere and I could make a living, go play for 6 months, come back and make a living all over again. Today we have a whole generation of people with advanced degrees, great educations coming out of school working in the service industry, flipping burgers, that kind of stuff because there is no economy to support jobs now.”
